Derek Araujo is a student at Harvard Law School. While at Harvard College he founded the Harvard Secular Society, a group interested in secular humanist philosophy and church-state separation. He also served for a time as the humanist delegate and chairman of the college's Interfaith Forum, making him simulataneously an outspoken atheist and a proponent of religious freedom. He now serves on both the executive board of the American Constitution Society at Harvard Law School and the editorial board of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
