2009 Military Reporters & Editors Annual Journalism Contest

The fifth annual contest is seeking entries from the calendar year 2008 for stories on the military, veterans' affairs, national defense, and homeland security in print, photography, broadcasting and online media.

The contest will be headlined again by the Joseph Galloway Award for
Distinguished Journalism, which will offer a $500 award for the
best-of-show entry from category winners
The deadline for
entries is May 1, 2009. Entry forms and additional details on the
