black and white cotton dress
blowing off my sticky knees
I pedal as fast as I can
to clear my mind of today-
I'm going in no certain direction
my hair tangled in gusts of wind
my tires creating rhythm on the hot pavement
only house lights and stars
to light my way
the security of this dark night
calms the thousands of left over thoughts
that were tempting to consume my actions
this is my night song-
my way to calm down-
back to my house I fly
through the thick air
ready to close my heavy eyes
breathe deep again,
free from all the cares
the world creates
let me tell you about
the therapy
a old beat up
neon orange
ugly as sin
rusty
bicycle
can bring
