We invite you to a film screening co-sponsored by InTheFray Magazine and NY Young Advocates:
LA SIERRA, a documentary by Scott Dalton and Margarita Martinez, explores a Medellín neighborhood controlled by a paramilitary gang. By turns harrowing, intimate, and heartbreaking, this searing film tells the story of three young Colombian’s lives and the violence that surrounds them. The Austin Chronicle calls it a “stunning documentary, reminiscent of City of God — only real.” To learn more about the film, please visit: lasierrafilm.com.
