Reproductive rights and the right to life would seem, at first glance, compatible philosophies, but in philosophy as in life, perception based on experience, faith, even sexual orientation can lead to vastly different points of view.

On Global Spin, one of the criteria we use when choosing a topic is when one person's or group's perceptions conflict with another’s rights. Abortion and the right to life bear just such a conflicted history. This is the story of that conflict as it played out this past summer over the last abortion clinic in Mississippi.
