			<description>I'm not sure there is a &quot;religious test;&quot;  I'm more convinced that religiosity is becoming the norm. Before berating the Christian Right, remember that Jimmy Carter introduced religion into the public political discussion back in the 80s.

However, one of my favorite Bible verses says faith without works is dead. I look at actions, not words. If a candidate says s/he is tolerant, I check to see whether the voting records confirms or disproves it. - Afi-Odelia E. Scruggs</description>
