Matthew Fishbane is a New York-based writer, currently interested in the
idea of home -- especially for people Pico Iyer calls "global souls." His work has appeared in Salon, the Christian Science Monitor, and others, including Spanish-language publications in Colombia.
Matthew had a former life as a high school English teacher in overseas schools, which took him to Colombia, Spain and Cambodia, and brought him back to the U.S. a decade and a half later. Funny how it crept up on him like that.
