Sharlee DiMenichi is an award-winning freelance journalist who
specializes in covering religion and ethnic communities.
Her favorite assignments include a series based on
interviews with Holocaust survivors and articles on the Akwesasne
Mohawks' efforts to settle a land claim with New York State.
She writes teaching aids for the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and is researching a book of curricular materials on Holocaust rescuers throughout occupied Europe.
She holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University and bachelor's degrees in English and Education from Juniata College.
