In her third -- or is it fourth? -- incarnation, Nicole Leistikow is pursuing a career in medicine. She still lives in Baltimore, where she taught high school English for four years, and can still be seen on occasion wandering the halls and getting into trouble. Past highlights include: learning Hindi in Delhi, writing about politics in Uganda, finishing a master's degree in twentieth-century English literature at Oxford and a thesis on the marketing of South African/Botswanan author Bessie Head, and traversing South Africa. Leistikow has also lived in New Haven, Connecticut, where she received a bachelor's degree in English from Yale University and got certified to teach secondary school.
