Patsi Bale Cox founded one of the first regional feminist magazines, Colorado Woman, in 1975. She currently resides in Tennessee where she collaborated on Nickel Dreams with Tanya Tucker, Still Woman Enough with Loretta Lynn, The View From Nashville, and Fifty Years Down a Country Road with Ralph Emery, among others. Her latest collaboration with Tucker,100 Ways to Beat the Blues, will be released by Fireside in March 2005. Patsi has two children: Tracy, a writer and artist in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Adam, a Ph.D. engineering consultant with Booz, Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C.
