Sandra Rychel
Editorial Board

Sandra Rychel was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, but due to some cosmic mishap spent years in an unfulfilling career as a fashion designer. She has finally decided to follow her true passion for the written word and is now pursuing a career in editing and writing.

In addition to being ITF's copy chief, Sandra is an editor for a technology evaluation firm and freelances as a book line editor and a copy editor. She is also a member of the Editors' Association of Canada.

An individualist at heart, Sandra strongly believes in the freedom of self-expression, in whatever form it takes. She is also an avid supporter of animal rights, and is a member of several organizations dedicated to the welfare and ethical treatment of animals. When she isn't busy snatching up freelance writing and editing contracts, she is dreaming of the day when she writes her best-selling novel.

Sandra resides in Montreal with her husband, where they happily share their home with a Rottweiler and a Great Dane.

There is no such thing as an impartial jury because there are no impartial people. There are people that argue on the web for hours about who their favorite character on "Friends" is. —Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show
