| The gay evangelical | N/A | The fight for equal recognition of same sex relationships is much greater than just gay marriage. My partner is a US citizen and has had to leave her entire life behind to come live with me in Australia purely because there's no recognition of same sex relationships even for immigration purposes. Having said that if we were a straight couple we could get married and I'd be entitled to a Green Card. As it is if I enter the US and mention I am in a relationship with a US citizen I can potentially be denied access to the country because it shows a potential reason or intention to stay. |
