| About me: | Angie Chuang is an Assistant Professor of Journalism at the American University School of Communication in Washington, D.C. Her most recent INTHEFRAY contribution, "Life After the Theocracy," was adapted from a chapter of her book manuscript about Afghanistan. She received a 2007 Oregon Literary Fellowship in Creative Non-Fiction for the project, and another chapter, about rural Afghanistan, appeared in the Lonely Planet anthology, Tales From Nowhere. Prior to teaching, she covered race and ethnicity issues for The Oregonian. |
